Description
Fenugreek is a spice used in Indian cuisine. Fenugreek seeds are small and irregular in shape, and have a pungent smell. When sprouted, Fenugreek has a milder flavor. Fenugreek is rich in a compound called diosgenin, which is reported to be the precursor for the semisynthesis of progesterone.
